Free UK delivery on every order. Here is how our made-to-order dispatch works and what can affect timing.
Free UK delivery
Delivery is free on every plate order within the UK — there is no minimum spend or threshold. The delivery cost is already included when you order your plates, so there is nothing extra to add at checkout for standard UK delivery.
Made to order
Every plate is personalised and pressed for you after your order is placed. For road-legal plates, production only begins once your order is confirmed and the required documents have been checked and approved — so dispatch depends on document approval. Show plates carrying novelty text require no documents and go into production as soon as the order is confirmed; a show plate ordered with a real vehicle registration is document-checked in the same way as a road-legal plate.

Dispatch timing — the 3pm cutoff
Orders placed before 3pm on a working day may be dispatched the same working day, subject to production capacity, payment completion and document approval where required. Orders placed after 3pm, at weekends or on bank holidays are normally dispatched the next working day. Weekends and bank holidays are not working days.

For road-legal plates, dispatch timing only starts once acceptable documents have been submitted and approved — the document check is completed before production begins, so the time taken to provide and approve documents affects when your plate is dispatched. A show plate with novelty text has no document check, so its dispatch clock starts as soon as the order is confirmed; one ordered with a real registration starts from document approval, like a road-legal plate.
All timings are estimates rather than guarantees unless specifically stated, and can vary at busier periods. We aim to dispatch as quickly as we reasonably can once everything is approved.
Tracking and where we deliver
We deliver to addresses within the UK using a tracked UK delivery service where available. Your plates are sent to the delivery address provided with your order, so please make sure your address details are correct at checkout.
